Cass county crash injures one 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 2 June 2018, at 101 am , his Office took a single motor vehicle crash on Jeffry Street near Lakeshore Drive. Karen Elizabeth Schott- Kelly (44yrs) of Dowagiac was north bound Jeffry Street and lost control , running off the road and hitting several trees. Schott-Kelly was transported to Borgess Lee Hospital for non-life threating injuries. Safety belt were used and speed was a factor in the crash. Alcohol was not a factor in this crash. This crash remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted on scene by Wayne Fire, Pokagon Tribal Police and Pride Care Ambulance.
