Please be advised that Middle Fork Road is closed due to a landslide ½ mile from Hwy 74. NCDOT is evaluating and making a determination on repairs. Residents isolated in the community are urged to shelter in place until DOT is able to complete the assessment. If you are unable to stay at your home safely, contact Henderson County Emergency Management at 828-697-4728 by 5PM, or 828-697-4912 after hours.
