Wind Advisory until 11:00PM 
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING... The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 11 PM PDT this evening.
* WINDS...West 20 to 30 with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
* IMPACTS...High profile vehicles such as campers and tractor trailers will be most vulnerable to strong cross winds over area highways. Areas of blowing dust and sand will create locally poor visibility.
* AFFECTED AREAS: INDIAN WELLS VALLEY ... KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHEASTERN KERN COUNTY DESERT ... SOUTHWESTERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... WEST-CENTRAL SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of at least 35 mph in the San Joaquin Valley and 45 mph in the Kern county mountains and desert area are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
