Mon., May 28, 2018, 2:00 p.m. — The Honolulu Board of Water Supply is reporting a main break in Pearl City which is affecting approximately 300 customers. The break is located at 1720 Hoohulu St. Affected customers are on Hoohulu, Hoola, Hookanike, Hoohiki, upper Hoomalu, Hoohaaheo, and Hooikaika streets.
Water service to the nearby Waiau District Park and Waiau Fire Station is unaffected.
Crews shut off water to the affected areas at about 12:30 p.m. and a supervisor is en route to further assess the situation.
Customers in the surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to conserve water until further notice. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
