One injured in tractor accident

Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 05/27/18 at approximately 2115 hours his office was called to investigate a tractor accident that occurred on Roth Rd near Dewey Lake in Wayne Township, Cass County Michigan. 59 yr old, Resident of Dowagiac, MI, Leonard Eugene Phillips, was operating a tractor on his property when he fell from the tractor and was run over by one of the wheels.

Phillips was transported by PrideCare ambulance to Borgess Lee Memorial in Dowagiac for serious injuries sustained in the accident. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
