TRAFFIC ALERT: Michigan will be closed in both directions on Memorial Day, 5/28 from 8AM-1PM from Southfield-Schaefer 
The Dearborn Police Department reminds everyone the Dearborn Memorial Day Parade is on Monday, May 28th. The parade begins at Michigan Avenue and Schaefer, and travels west on Michigan to end at the Henry Ford Centennial Library. Participants should allow plenty of time to stage in their new location, and audience members should plan ahead to find viewing spots. Michigan Avenue will be closed starting at 8 a.m. Visit cityofdearborn.org for details.
The excitement is in the air for the 94th Annual Dearborn Memorial Day Parade, which steps off at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28, following a solemn funeral procession at 9:40 a.m. for veterans who died without resources. There are many great vantage points but easy parking and viewing spots can be found near the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
