Last Friday,  a woman was shot and killed in the crossfire of a dispute at Mt. Zion High School in the parking after a graduation.  Not to long after Sheriff Victor Hill left the scene of the crime, Shaquille O’Neil was calling the Sheriff to ask if the family of the victim needed help.  After making contact with the victim’s family, Sheriff Hill determined that they needed assistance with funeral arrangements and Deputy O’Neil graciously covered the expenses.  The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office is grateful for his kind gesture to some of our citizens during their tragic time of need and want to thank him publicly for it!

“The length of his heart far exceeds his height” says Sheriff Hill of Shaq.   “We never ask him for anything, but when he sees a need, he is Johnny on the spot!”

When Shaquille O’Neil and Sheriff Victor Hill first met, they quickly discovered that they both had in common an undying passion for hunting and capturing bad guys.  The two have been inseparable ever since.
