On Weds, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM the Green Bay Police Department will be introducing 5 new K9's to the community.

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM, the Green Bay Police Department will be holding a Police K9 meet and greet for all of our area media outlets and various guests and donors. The Green Bay Police Department has recently brought on five new K9’s and four new K9 handlers. These additions to our K9 unit were made possible through significant financial donations from various individuals and organizations throughout the Green Bay community. We would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank each of these individuals for their extreme generosity towards helping our organization meet our mission to keep the Green Bay area a safe and enjoyable place to live, work, and raise families.

The introduction of our new K9 members will take place outside the Green Bay Police Department in front of the Law Enforcement memorial located at 307 S. Adams St. This event is expected to last approximately 45 minutes to one hour. Chief Andrew Smith, Mayor Jim Schmitt, and the Wisconsin’s Bark and Blue Foundation President, Heather Heil, will be attending this event, as well as all seven police K9’s and their handlers.
