Motor Vehicle Theft:

The Deal Police Department is currently investigating the theft of a vehicle that took place last night.

An Almyr Ave resident reported the theft of a Black 2018 Range Rover Sport from their driveway sometime overnight Friday into Saturday. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys left inside.

As always, we remind our residents to secure their vehicles and never leave keys or key-fobs in vehicles, unfortunately many residents are not aware of this increasing problem.

As a continuing crime prevention suggestion, residents are urged to please lock their vehicles left unattended and to store their valuables out of site. Residents should also store their vehicle’s keys/key-fobs in a separate location from their vehicles.
