The Flood Warning continues for
The Potomac River at Shepherdstown.
* From early this afternoon until further notice.
* At 9 AM Friday the stage was 13.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early this afternoon and crest
near 18.9 feet by early Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...Water covers the pedestrian bridge adjacent
to the Shepherdstown boat ramp. Significant portions of the C&O
Canal towpath are flooded.
