...The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a flood warning for the following rivers in Maryland...West Virginia... Potomac River at Shepherdstown affecting Washington...Berkeley and Jefferson Counties The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a

* Flood Warning for The Potomac River at Shepherdstown.

* From Friday afternoon until further notice.

* At 3 PM Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet and steady.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by mid-afternoon tomorrow and crest near 23.7 feet by Sunday morning.

* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Water begins to cover the parking lot adjacent to the Shepherdstown boat ramp, and approaches the lowest point of an adjacent building.
