Alert

The water main repair is complete and DPW will begin filling and flushing the mains momentarily.

The water main repair is complete and DPW will begin filling and flushing the mains momentarily. Businesses along the effected water main will be under a boil water advisory longer than the rest of the city.

The Henry Street water tower is full and water pressure on the south side of the city is back to normal. The Industrial Drive water tower is at approximately 50% of its normal operating level and as a result some parts of the Northside are still experiencing reduced pressure. The tower should be full this evening and pressures will return to normal throughout the City.

Initial samples were collected across the distribution system early this afternoon. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until we have two rounds of satisfactory samples. Friday at 2:00pm is the earliest the system-wide advisory will be lifted. As noted above, the customers on the effected main will be on an advisory longer, and a timeline has not been determined yet. #SalineMI
