* At 435 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Hendricks to near Elkins to 9 miles northwest of Mill Creek, moving southeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management. At 423 PM, a wind gust of 63 mph was reported at the Elkins airport. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
