2 injured in crash





Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports on 5/13/2018 at 1500 hrs his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on M 51 near Pokagon St in Pokagon Township, Cass County Michigan. 39 yr old Dowagiac resident, Kevin Frazier, was south bound on M 51 when he collided with another southbound vehicle driven by 57 yr old Dowagiac resident, Laura Zielke. Ms. Zielke vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic colliding with a Northbound vehicle, driven by 58 yr old Dowagiac resident, James Mosier. Ms. Zielke and 51 yr old Dowagiac resident, Shelly Mosier, were transporteds, by ambulance, to St. Joe Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Seat belts are believed to have been worn, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. This case remains under investigation.
