A Tornado Watch has been issued for Ocean County effective until 1AM. Please monitor trusted weather outlets for updates. 
Thunderstorms will develop late this afternoon and move into the region after 5 PM. These storms will have the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall which could lead to isolated flash flooding and more widespread urban and poor drainage flooding. An isolated tornado is also possible near the Mason-Dixon line. The threat of severe storms should diminish late in the
evening.
