Robbery (Chain Snatch)
A late reported chain snatch was reported on Lake Mead Dr.  An elderly female had her gold chain stolen by a suspect described as a white male adult in his 30’s, wearing a white t-shirt.

#040 Battery 
Officer Lobue investigated a case where two “friends” had been drinking at a restaurant in Newark.  A disturbance erupted and one friend decided to drive the other home.   They drove around Fremont for some time trying unsuccessfully to find the passengers home.  At some point they ended up in the parking lot of a gas station at Fremont Blvd/Thornton Ave.  An argument took place which resulted in the passenger beating the driver in the face causing serious injury.  He was transported to a trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.  Meanwhile a community member reports a male down on the ground near Paseo Padre Pkwy and Sequoia Ave.   That person was the passenger/suspect who was intoxicated.  Ultimately the suspect, a 41 year old Newark, was arrested for battery with serious injury.  

#046 Possession of Meth Arrest
Officer Crow contacted an adult male at the Niles Plaza and conducted a probation search pursuant to his search clause. Officer Crow locates a small amount of methamphetamine and arrests the male for possession.

Warrant Arrest
Officer Gonzales contacts an adult male at the Camden Quick Stop. The male has three outstanding misdemeanor warrants for drug related charges.  Officer Gonzlaes confirms the warrants and arrests the male for all of his warrants.

#001 Possession of Meth, Paraphernalia and Burglary Tools
Officer Dubowy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and contacted an adult female and male.  The female is active to probation and has a four way search clause. The male is also is active to probation.  Officer Dubowy conducts a probation search and locates methamphetamine, a crank pipe and burglary tools. Both are arrested and booked into FPD jail.

#007 Warrant Arrest
Officer Ramirez conducted a pedestrian stop at Whole Foods and arrested an adult male for two misdemeanor warrants.
 
#018 Possession of Dangerous Drugs
 Right out of briefing officers get dispatched to Walgreens (Walgreens/Mowry) to investigate an unwanted guest who is reportedly inside the store making rude gestures to female customers. Officers Rodarte and Officer Davis detain a 30 year old adult male and discover he is in possession of drugs. The male is arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail. Case handled by Ofc. Rodarte.
 
#026 Arson
Fremont Fire calls for assistance from regarding two dumpsters on fire in the 46300 block of Landing Pkwy. No known suspects at this time. Case investigated by Ofc. Loughery.

#002 DUI Arrest
A community member reported a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes on Cushing Pkwy. Officer Stiers arrives on scene and is almost struck by the vehicle as it still traveling in the wrong direction of travel. Officer Stiers conducts a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver yields. The driver of the vehicle is arrested by Officer Kerner for DUI.

#011 Possession of Methamphetamine
Officer Gigliotti stopped a 49 year old male near Walnut and Paseo arrested him for possession of meth.  He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
#009 Suspicious Circumstance/Gun Call
Officers responded to the area of Shinn/Von Euw to investigate a report of a male with a gun in the area.  Several units responded and contacted two males.  No gun was located during the incident.   The caller has dialed 911 numerous times over the past few weeks to falsely report various crimes occurring in the area.  
 
#014 Trespassing 
Officer Armirez, FTO Kennedy, and Officer Wong were sent to investigate a trespassing call.  A cleaning crew arrived at a vacant residence in the 41400 block of Roberts Ave and found several people living in the house.  A 24 year old adult male and 23 year old female were asked to move along, as the property owners couldn’t be contacted.  

#028 Chain Snatch Robbery
A female customer at a gas station located near Fremont Blvd. and Stevenson Blvd, had her chain ripped off her neck while she was pumping gas.  The suspect was described as a Black male adult, 25 years old and was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and a black down jacket with a fur hood. He fled eastbound on Stevenson. The victim sustained minor injuries during the struggle as she fell. 

#038 DUI Arrest
Calvin is dispatched to Century Theaters in regards to two subjects drinking in the parking lot.  They get into a van and are stopped by Officer Stiers as they attempted to leave. One of the occupants is arrested for his outstanding misdemeanor warrant and the driver is arrested for DUI.  The two men are booked into the Fremont Jail. Case investigated by Ofc. Calvin.

#041 Felony DUI with Injuries
Officers are dispatched to an injury collision at the intersection of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Decoto Rd. Upon arrival they notice that the suspect vehicle had rear ended the victim vehicle at the stoplight. The victim suffered injuries and was to a local. Officer Carter authored a McNeely warrant and a blood draw was administered. The male was booked into the Fremont Jail for Felony DUI. Case investigated by Officer Carter.

#001 Possession of Meth
Officer Dennis is dispatched to the park behind Camden Village Apartments in regards to a suspicious person who punching the air, doing pushups and running around with no shirt on. Officer Dennis contacts a male who is active to probation and also happens to be in possession of methamphetamine.  He is arrested for possession of methamphetamine.  

#002 Stolen Vehicle
A victim had his vehicle stolen in his driveway as his vehicle was left running unlocked with the keys in it. The vehicle is a 2011 four door silver Mitsubishi Galant with a plate of CA 8CDV389. The vehicle was still outstanding at the end of the shift.  Case investigated by Ofc. Gonzales.
