UPDATE: The road closure on Ridgedale Avenue has been extended from Abbett Avenue to Morris Street in order to facilitate the repairs to the downed pole. This closure is expected to continue through the evening rush hour and as a result, significant traffic delays are expected.

A motor vehicle crash on Ridgedale Avenue has resulted in the closure of the roadway between Abbett Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. A downed utility pole is across the roadway and access is blocked. JCP&L crews have been notified and are responding but motorists should expect extensive delays until this matter is resolved. All are urged to plan alternate routes if possible.
