* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Strongest gusts will occur below the passes and canyons.
* TIMING...Through Sunday evening. The strongest gusts are expected in the afternoon and early evening hours. Winds will gradually diminish after sunset on Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous driving conditions due to strong crosswinds, especially for high profile vehicles. Highways affected include 14, 58, 178, and 395. Reduced visibility due to blowing dust and sand is possible at times.
* AFFECTED AREAS: INDIAN WELLS VALLEY ... KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHEASTERN KERN COUNTY DESERT
