The Wylie Police Department is once again participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's Drug Take Back Event today April 28th from 10am-2pm. The event will be held in front of the police department located at 2000 N. Hwy 78. This event gives the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse, thefts and accidents by ridding their home of potentially dangerous medications. This service is free and anonymous. Just bring your expired, unused, or unwanted medications to the Wylie Police Department on the above times for proper disposal. We do not accept needles, thermometers, or inhalers at this event.
