The City of Oneonta will be celebrating Arbor Day on Friday, April 27, 2018 in the Swart-Wilcox Park. The tree planting will take place at 10:00 am. There will be an "Ash Tree Inoculation" at 11:00 and an "Urban Forestry Walk" will immediately follow.

The City of Oneonta has been recognized as a Tree City USA Community for the thirty-second year. There are only 16 municipalities in the State of New York that have been in the program longer that the City of Oneonta.

The public is encouraged to attend.
