On Thursday April 26th 2018 at approximately 0707 hours, The Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 40 and Meadowbrook Drive for a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis, operated by Mark A. Fonte was trapped in his vehicle and was extricated by the Mays Landing Fire Department. He was later transported by the Hamilton Township Rescue Squad to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona for further evaluation. His injuries are not considered life-threatening at this time. The crash remains under investigation and motor vehicle charges are pending.
