On April 25, 2018, at approximately 3:54 P.M., Fairfield Police Officers responded to a stabbing in the 1700 block of West Texas Street. Fairfield Police Officers arrived at that location and found a 31-year old male Fairfield resident suffering from multiple stab wounds. Fairfield Police Officers quickly identified, located and arrested the suspect in this case. Officers arrested 50-year old Suisun City resident Brandon Keith Oneal and booked him into the Solano County jail for attempted murder and violation of his probation status.
Detectives from the Fairfield Police Department Investigations Bureau responded and assisted in the investigation of this case.
The victim of the stabbing was taken to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. The victim was listed in serious and guarded condition.
