Narrative:
On April 18, 2018, at approximately 2:26 a.m., a robbery occurred in the 3300 block of East Faria Street in the City of Camarillo.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male victim had been attending a party in the area when he was pinned against the wall inside the home and physically assaulted by five males.  During the assault, the suspects took numerous pieces of expensive jewelry from the victim’s person.  One of the suspects threatened to kill the victim.  Fearing for his life, the victim got away from the suspects by jumping through a closed living room glass window.  The victim suffered numerous injuries from the assault and from jumping through the glass window.

Detectives with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Bureau identified all of the suspects.  Between April 18 and April 23, 2018, detectives with the Camarillo Police Department’s Special Enforcement Detail, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau, and Ventura County Sheriff’s Gang Unit located all five suspects in the Hollywood area.  During the arrest, one of the suspects was in possession of some of the victim’s stolen property.

All five adult male suspects were booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility for PC 211 – [Robbery].  Leroy Bernardez is currently in custody with a $450,000 bail.  Donovan Johnson, Taj Moore, and Lovell Scott are currently in custody with a $200,000 bail.  Latilo Lewis is currently in custody with a $100,000 bail.
