The Asbury Park Police Department would encourage all vehicle and bicycle owners to take certain precautions in order to properly secure their vehicles and bicycles. Please ensure when you park your vehicle, you remove any items of value from the vehicle as well as keep any loose change or other items out of view. Always remember to lock your doors. When using a bicycle, it is always safer to use a quality cable/bar lock and secure the bicycle to a fixed object, preferably a bicycle parking station.
