Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project continues to make progress with the street restoration phase. The General Contractor and sub-contractors have multiple crews performing many different jobs with East Avenue being completely closed in multiple locations between 4th and 16th Streets.
The different crews will attempt to accommodate EMS, Fire and school buses, but there could be considerable delays in moving.
The residents in the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project work zone will be notified daily as to how they can access their driveways.
East Avenue remains closed and drivers must use the detour routes for East Avenue of Middle Avenue and East River Street. The detour routes are posted.
