The Fairfield Police Department Thanks Local Church During Training Presentation

Last week Sgt. Morris, Sgt. Cesar, and Firefighter Biro conducted an Active Killer Response presentation for members of the Mount Cavalry Baptist Church.  At the conclusion of the evening the team presented Chief Financial Officer Elton Hutchison with a plaque to show our appreciation of the congregation for allowing Fairfield's first responders to train on Active Killer Response at the church.  Our first responders utilized the church several times since the beginning of the year to train on our response to an Active Killer situation.  The training would not have been a success if not for the assistance of the Mount Cavalry Baptist Church and its staff members.

The Fairfield Police Department is continually looking for ways to build relationships with our community stakeholders.  Having the ability to train in areas within our community better prepares our officers and firefighters to respond to any number of emergencies.  Again, we would like to thank the Mount Cavalry Baptist Church for their participation in our recent training and look forward to future partnerships.
