* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas

Northwestern Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama...
Southwestern Cleburne County in east central Alabama...
Coosa County in east central Alabama...
Clay County in east central Alabama...

* Until 1115 PM CDT

* At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers
and a few thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain may occur
in a short period of time.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Anniston, Oxford, Talladega, Alexander City, Sylacauga, Pell City,
Jacksonville, Childersburg, Lineville, Ashland, Goodwater,
Rockford, Kellyton, Talladega Springs, Weogufka, Cobb Town, Fort
McClellan, Saks, West End-Cobb Town and Stewartville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
