UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY:
Central Avenue will be closed between Sycamore Street and Morton Avenue from noon Saturday, April 21st, through Monday, April 23rd, due to Railroad Repair Work.
Drivers on Central Avenue and surrounding streets should anticipate minor delays during the closure. Detour signs will be in place directing drivers to alternate routes:
• Eastbound traffic on Central Avenue will be detoured at Filbert Street to Sycamore Street
• Westbound traffic on Central Avenue will be detoured at Sycamore Street to Filbert Street
• Access will be maintained at all times to local businesses on Morton Avenue and Central Avenue near the railroad crossing
This closure is necessary to allow Union Pacific Railroad to perform repair work on their tracks.
