A multi-jurisdictional emergency response training exercise will be held near Memorial field on Wed 4/25. 
Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25th, local, county, and state agencies will be participating in a large scale, multi-jurisdictional emergency response training exercise. The exercise is expected to last until approximately 3:00 p.m., and will include areas of Memorial Field, Linden Firehouse #4, and the Union County Fire Academy. Residents in the area can expect to see a large presence of emergency response personnel, as well as loud noises and police activity. DO NOT BE ALARMED. THIS IS A CONTROLLED EXERCISE AND THERE IS NO DANGER TO THE PUBLIC. In the event of an actual emergency you will be notified by police personnel.
There will be some local road closures and parking restrictions to accommodate this exercise. Please follow all posted restrictions and avoid the area, including the P.A.L. Baseball Fields and Dog Park, for the duration of the exercise.
