Evansville woman arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 
On April 19, 2018, at 10:29 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a suspicious female at the Pilot Truck Stop located at 1042 E Warranton Road. Sergeant Bruce Vanoven was dispatched to the scene and with the assistance of the staff of the truck stop 39 year old Amanda Schmidt of Evansville was located. Sgt. Vanoven spoke with Ms. Schmidt and began an investigation into her wellbeing. During that his investigation drug paraphernalia was found and Ms. Schmidt was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Ms. Schmidt remains in custody on a hold out of Vanderburgh County for an outstanding warrant.
Assisting Sgt. Vanoven in his investigation was Haubstadt Officer Kevin Cox.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
