  In Case You Missed It:  Last week was National Public Safety Telecommunications Week! At BPD we are celebrating this week in anticipation of the Alameda County Dispatcher of the Year Banquet which will be held Friday in Livermore.  We wanted to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to some of our department’s unsung heroes: the Communications Center.  Our Dispatchers work tirelessly to keep both our officers and our community safe.  The “thin blue line” couldn’t do without the support of our teammates who make up the “thin gold line.”
