Santa Rosa man arrested on drugs, weapons charges.
On April 17, 2018 Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Property/Narcotics Crime detectives conducted an investigation related to unlawful sales of firearms to prohibited persons by an individual identified as Jacob Kornblue (37 yrs) of Larkfield. Detectives, armed with a search warrant, contacted Kornblue at his home on Corbett Circle as he rode up on his motorcycle. He was searched and was found to be carrying a loaded/concealed semiautomatic handgun in a shoulder holster along with a usable quantity of Cocaine in his pocket. Detectives conducted a search of Kornblue’s motorcycle he was driving and located an AR-15 variant pistol which met the criteria as an illegal assault weapon as well as another loaded/concealed handgun and over $3000 in US Currency.
A search warrant was served at Kornblue’s residence which resulted in the seizure of (12) additional firearms to include an AK47 style assault weapon, a short barreled rifle and 10 handguns. Also seized were large capacity magazines capable of holding 30-50 rounds each, a butane hash oil lab, two homemade silencers (not pictured) and approximately one pound of hash oil.
Kornblue was arrested for multiple felony violations to include possessing illegal drugs with a loaded firearm, possession of an illegal short barrel shotgun, possession of a silencer and manufacture of a controlled substance. Additional violations will be requested as the investigation continues.
Kornblue remains in custody on $100,000 bail.
