Ashland PD Traffic Alert for the 40th Annual Railroad Run Saturday, April 21, 2018 
The annual Ashland Railroad Run will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The Ashland Police Department will begin temporarily closing roads starting at 7:30 a.m.
The course will include South Center Street (west side of the tracks only) and go as far north as England Street, but will not interrupt traffic; as far west as South James Street; as far south as Gwathmey Church Road.
South Center Street will be closed throughout the Run. Ashcake Road will be closed intermittently at South Center Street (railroad crossing).
Other streets contained within the race perimeter will be closed intermittently to include Cox Lane, Duncan Street (between Hanover Avenue and Early Street), South James Street, Hanover Avenue, Stebbins Street, Early Street, Howard Street and South Center Street. There will be police officers and race officials posted at various intersections to help with the flow of traffic.
If you do find yourself stopped in traffic related to the run, the wait should be minimal. We thank you for your patience and cooperation in advance.
