Engineering Work Apr 17 - Apr 19 test boring on streets throughout Somersworth

Engineering work to include test borings on streets for complete street design work
The Department of Public Works announces that a drilling crew from S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. will be performing soil borings and ledge probes starting on Tuesday, April 17th through Thursday, April 19th along Cemetery Rd, Constitutional Way, and Main St (from John Parsons Dr to Indigo Hill Rd) as part of the Survey and Engineering Complete Street Design process for the Roadway and Utility Reconstruction Project for the City of Somersworth. A short distance of lane closure can be expected in the vicinity of the drilling rig as work progresses along these streets. Traffic control plan will be in place including advance warning signs, cones, and a Police detail for traffic safety.
Work will take place on Cemetery Rd on Tuesday, April 17th; Constitutional Way on Wednesday, April 18th; and Main Street on Wednesday, April 18th & Thursday, 19th. Work will generally be from 8am-4pm.
