The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in... Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia... Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Taylor County in northern West Virginia... Central Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Webster County in northeastern West Virginia... Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... Harrison County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 415 PM EDT

* At 108 PM EDT, river and stream gauges continue to indicate high water across the warned area. This high water continues to result in multiple roads impacted and/or closed.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clarksburg, Elkins, Buckhannon, Grafton, Weston, Summersville, Philippi, Richwood, Glenville, Marlinton, Sutton, Greenbank, Audra State Park, Webster Springs, Cass Scenic Railroad, Bridgeport, Shinnston, Belington, Stonewood and Nutter Fort.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NICHOLAS ... POCAHONTAS ... TAYLOR ... UPSHUR

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
