Winter Weather Advisory until 08:00AM Tuesday
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM MONDAY TO 8 AM PDT TUESDAY... The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Kern County mountains, which is in effect from 10 PM Monday to 8 AM PDT Tuesday for elevations as low as 3500 feet.
* Snow accumulations of a dusting to an inch or two are possible at pass level with local amounts of up to 4 or 5 inches above 5000 feet by early Tuesday morning.
* OTHER IMPACTS...Slick, icy snow covered roads with winter driving conditions. Possible travel delays and/or road closures. Highways that may be impacted include I-5 over the Grapevine, Highway 58 and highways 155 and 178 in addition to the communities of Frazier Park, Cuddy Valley and Bear Valley Springs.
