1 Deceased in Single Vehicle Crash


Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 4/13/18 at 2230 hrs. his office was called to investigate a fatal traffic crash in Mason Township, Cass County Michigan. 32 yr old, New Haven resident, Gary May, was northbound on Kessington Rd. when he lost control of the Jeep Cherokee for an unknown reason. This caused the vehicle to run off the road and overturn several times in a field, ejecting Mr. May. Mr. May was pronounced deceased at the scene. Safety belts were not used, intoxicants and speed may have been a factor. This case remains under investigation.
