Blizzard Warning until 10:00PM Saturday

...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 PM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Rain will change to snow late tonight, with blizzard conditions expected early Saturday morning. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant drifting of the snow is likely. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches, with localized amounts up to 10 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 PM CDT Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very dangerous to impossible. Tree branches could fall.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LYON ... PLYMOUTH ... SIOUX
