Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sat thru Sun. Be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions. 
Mother nature plans to pack a punch for the weekend. The NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.
The NWS reports a rainy pattern will continue today and tonight and will continue for the weekend with 2 to 2.5 inches of rain, but some of this will fall as snow, sleet, and freezing rain Saturday through Sunday. In addition to the rain, ice, and snow, winds will gusts to 40 to 45 mph on Saturday. Hazardous travel is expected with this late winter weather system. The persistent rainfall will lead to rising rivers this weekend, with river flooding possible.
PLEASE, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions. Buckle up, drive slow and increase your following distance.
