...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT FRIDAY... ...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 6 PM CDT FRIDAY... The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from noon to 6 PM CDT Friday.
* Winds...South 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* Timing...strong winds will continue into the early morning on Friday. Winds will pick back up again early afternoon through Friday evening.
* Impacts...include difficult driving, especially on east west oriented roadways and for high profile vehicles. Secure loose outdoor items.
