GBPD #Jerseysforhumboldt
Today, April 12th has been declared "Jersey Day" in support of the Humboldt Broncos hockey players who were involved in the tragic crash on April 6th. Jersey day was established to show the Bronco families that they are not alone through this horrific accident and that there are hockey families everywhere behind them.
This morning, Green Bay Police department personnel from the administrative, patrol, mounted patrol, records, and detective division took a moment to show their support for the Humboldt Broncos. As a department and a community our hearts go out to the victims’ families. We have personnel that have sons and daughters in the local hockey leagues and when an incident like this occurs, it hits close to home.
We encourage everyone to take a photo of themselves wearing their jersey and post it on social media with the hashtag
