As of Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 The East Avenue Sewer Relief Project rolling work zone is in the area of East Avenue & 6th Street today. 6th Street is accessible from the south. On Wednesday & Thursday the work zone will be between 5th & 4th Streets.
During the week, East Avenue will completely closed to all traffic except EMS, Fire and school buses, however they should expect delays as work crews would need to place steel plates and move equipment for them to pass.
The residents in the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project work zone will be notified daily as to how they can access their driveways.
East Avenue remains closed and drivers should use the detour routes for East Avenue of Middle Avenue and East River Street. The detour routes are posted.
