New program, a message from the Chief...

The Police Department is pleased to announce a new service available to our citizens. The Take Me Home program is a registry designed to assist in the locating and return of adult and child residents who may have difficulty communicating with first responders due to a developmental or cognitive disability.

Parents or guardians can register their dependent with the police department by completing the appropriate form, providing a current photograph and submitting either electronically thru the link provided, submitting via email or in person at the police department. All registrants are kept confidential within a secure database, accessible only by law enforcement personnel as needed to assist in the locating or return of individuals whom have become separated from their care giver or lost. Police department staff  will update each registrant’s information annually with the parent or guardian.

As with all of our programs, this service is free to our citizens. Residents can learn more about the Take Me Home program and access the application at
