Last year December, John Deangelo Sharkey shot a man in the head twice killing him in front of his children.  Sharkey fled to St Louis where he was tracked and apprehended.  Sharkey fought extradition to avoid having to come to the Clayton County jail, and lost the battle in court.

Yesterday was a grim ride for Sharkey when members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad showed up in St. Louis to bring him back to Georgia to take up boarding in the state’s toughest para-military jail.  Sharkey is now facing the wall and has his own suite at the “Hill ton”.
