Hamilton County Under Flood Warning Until 3:45PM on Tuesday. Turn Around Don't Drown

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for Hamilton County. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* Until 345 PM EDT Tuesday

* Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain which will cause flooding. 1 to 1.5 inches of rain has
already fallen with much more expected through the rest of the
morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Muncie, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, New Castle,
Winchester, Westfield, Yorktown, Cicero, Pendleton, Fortville,
Union City, Chesterfield, Ingalls, Knightstown, Lapel, Edgewood,
Daleville and Parker City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
