Use Caution Due to Snow and Ice - No Joke!

I still think this is a great joke put on by NOAA and the National Weather Service. If its not - watch for a snow and slush covered commute in the am and during the heaviest snow fall. I don't even have the energy to joke about this one. I am not worried because I know we broke the curse and this will melt by the end of the day.
Elsa & Olaf have gone on vacation and will not be reporting until next winter. The Moana, nice weather, index is a 2. Hoping for better by the end of the week.
No additional report in the AM unless conditions become very bad. If not, please use caution if you see snow on the ground and always be aware of ice conditions.
Have a great week. Stay safe and warm!

Summary by NOAA:

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect late tonight and Monday morning for eastern PA, most of NJ, northern DE and northeastern MD.
 Rain or a rain/snow mix develops overnight, changes to snow from NW to SE across the area between 1 AM and 8 AM. Sleet will mix in northern Delmarva and southern NJ. Accumulating snow ends from west to east between 9–11 AM.
 A period of heavy snow is possible 4–8 AM with snowfall rates of 1–2” per hour, resulting in treacherous driving conditions for the Monday morning commute. The greatest travel impacts are expected generally north and west of Philadelphia, especially at higher elevations, where temperatures will be colder and roads most likely to become snow covered.
 With highs generally in the 40s and the sun coming out Monday afternoon, most, if not all, of the fresh snow should melt by day’s end. Temperatures should stay above freezing for most of the area Monday night as well, preventing a widespread refreeze.
 Small Craft Advisory wind gusts and rough seas on the coastal ocean waters of NJ and DE on Monday
