The Green Bay Police Department recognizes the Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday
Today, March 31, the United States (and the State of Wisconsin) recognize Cesar Chavez Day. We celebrate the life and commitment to justice of the late Cesar Chavez. Cesar Chavez fought tirelessly to improve the working and living conditions of agricultural workers in the United States. He stands as an example to all of us, showing what a lifetime of dedicated service can do to improve peoples’ lives.
The Green Bay Police Department would like to thank our partners at CASA ALBA Melanie for their dedication to assisting the immigrant Community. We also want to welcome Voces De La Frontera to the Green Bay Community. We look forward to working with you to make positive change in the City and help all people live and prosper in Green Bay.
Today the Green Bay Police Department salutes the memory of Cesar Chaves and all the great work he did for us all. Si Se Puede!
