Hockley County Sheriff's Office calls for service and activities for Thursday, 3/29/18. 
Good Friday afternoon! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Thursday, 3/29/18.
-500 blk Igoe, Anton: Disturbance. Deputies responded to a reported verbal disturbance at a residence in the area. Parties stated no offenses occurred. Individuals were separated.
-6800 blk Hwy 114, Smyer: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance between neighbors in the area. One of the parties stated a dog was stolen. It was determined the dog being argued over was not the correct dog and remedies were advised to all parties. No offenses were reported.
-FM 2378 at Hwy 114, Vehicle Crash. Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash at the county line. Assistance was provided, and the crash was determined to have occurred in Lubbock County.
-Hwy 114 at Hummingbird Rd, Smyer: Loose Livestock. A deputy secured several loose livestock in the area after receiving a call.
Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, and investigative follow-up activities.
