Subject: Search Warrant in Ontwa Township
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, in a joint investigation with the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department, announces that on March 28, 2018 detectives executed a search warrant in the 70000 block of Kenmoore Drive in Ontwa Township. Upon searching the residence detectives discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and methamphetamine paraphernalia. A subject at the residence, 41 year old male from Goshen, was arrested. The 41 year old male was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and frequenting a drug house. In addition to those charges he was also arrested on a drug warrant out of Elkhart County Indiana. His name is being held pending arraignment in District Court of Cass County. The investigation is still on going at this time and warrants are being sought for individuals not present at the time of the search warrant. Detectives were assisted on scene by Cass County K9 Faust as well as Cass County Animal Control.
