...Periods of Moderate Rain to Continue Overnight over North Mississippi and Portions of West Tennessee... .The threat for flooding rainfall has diminished along and west of the Mississippi River for the remainder of tonight. A slight risk of flooding remains for north Mississippi and portions of west Tennessee east of the Memphis metro. ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THURSDAY... The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of North Mississippi and West Tennessee, including the following areas, in North Mississippi, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, and Tate. In West Tennessee, Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Madison, and Weakley.

* Until 7 AM CDT Thursday.

* Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches.

* Runoff from heavy rainfall may result in rapid rises in river, stream, and creek levels. Widespread lowland flooding is possible and poor drainage urban areas may experience street flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HENRY ... WEAKLEY
